HOW THE PROGRAMME WILL RUN

The programme will run virtually over 10 weeks from 18 Jan – 31 March. consisting of a self-paced online course, delivered through the African Angel

Academy learning platform, coupled with Zoom masterclasses and virtual networking sessions.

• Welcome, networking and ecosystem mapping | 18 – 22 Jan

• 12-module online course with instructor support | 18 Jan – 26 Feb

• Masterclasses + start-up pitch sessions | 3 – 31 March

About the International Tech Hub Network

The International Tech Hub Network is a UK Government initiative delivered by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport as part of the Digital Access Programme that aims to catalyse more inclusive, affordable, safe and secure digital access for excluded and underserved communities in Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Brazil and Indonesia. International Tech Hubs are a key element of the UK Government’s commitment to reinvesting in the UK’s relationships across the world, expanding and deepening the nation’s overseas network, working with others to face challenges and advancing common interests.

International Tech Hub Network teams have been set up in Brazil, Indonesia, Kenya, Nigeria, and South Africa.

ONLINE COURSE (FOR PARTICIPANTS)

The African Angel Academy online course is hosted on Thinkific, and is available for you to work through at your own pace as the chapters are released.

The course will be available to you until the end of March.
