PROGRAMME TESTIMONIALS
What our alumni have to say:
SUPPORTED BY THE DUTCH GOOD GROWTH FUND (DGGF) &
UK-SOUTH AFRICA TECH HUB
Since 2022, the Dutch Good Growth Fund (DGGF)’s Seed Capital and Business Development (SCBD) program has worked with AAA to train 130 aspiring angel investors from Ghana, Rwanda, Uganda, Botswana, Sudan, Zambia and Cote d’Ivoire, and 4 new business angel groups. The outcomes of this effort have been a greater volume of angel investments and a more conducive early-stage finance sector for African entrepreneurs.
DGGF is a “fund of funds” investment initiative from the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. DGGF’s Seed Capital and Business Development (SCBD) program was established to further the impact of the DGGF by providing Seed Capital, Technical Assistance and Business Development Services to local financial service providers and entrepreneur support organisations (ESOs).
The UK-South Africa Tech Hub, an initiative of the UK government, is designed to promote digital inclusion and inclusive growth of the digital ecosystems in partner countries. The International Tech Hubs are expert teams which work to stimulate local digital economies, build high-end digital skills, and forge innovation partnerships between local tech sectors and international businesses. Alongside South Africa, Hubs there are hubs in Nigeria, Kenya, Indonesia and Brazil.
