Future Females Invest

Startups from South Africa, Kenya, and Nigeria have been selected to showcase for investment in April’s regional Startup Showcases.

You’re invited to join us for the upcoming African Angel Academy Startup Showcase events , in partnership with the UK Government’s International Tech Hub Network.

The International Tech Hub Network has sponsored three cohorts of the African Angel Academy over the past two years, training and networking 240 emerging angel investors from Kenya, South Africa, Nigeria and the United Kingdom. At the end of each programme the cohort, alumni and AAA’s broader angel and hub partner network nominate investable startups that they would like to see present at the showcase. AAA will help to facilitate connections and conversations between the startups and interested investors after the events.

The April Startup Showcases will take place between 11 and 13 April, are open to alumni and investors in our network.

About the Showcases >>

Each Showcase event will be 90 minutes long and five startups will be presenting. Each startup will be introduced by the investor or ecosystem player who nominated them, and then we will play a short pre-recorded pitch. After the pitch, the startup will field a few questions, and interested investors will also have the opportunity to ask further questions in a break-out session. All attendees will be emailed after the events with the details of the startups, so that you can indicate your interest in being involved in a follow up call with the startup and other interested investors.
